SANDSORB Natural-Mineral Absorbent for Managing Factory Spills
Oil or other liquids leaking in a workplace may affect personnel safety, machinery operation and waste management. Selecting an absorbent for the liquid and site is therefore part of factory spill-response planning.
SANDSORB is a porous natural-mineral absorbent designed for industrial spill management in production, maintenance and storage areas. Suitability should be considered for each liquid before use.
Absorbent material for industrial work
Its porous structure helps the material take up liquid. Used absorbent can then be collected for the facility’s waste-management process. Actual performance depends on the liquid and volume, surface and application method.
SANDSORB may be stocked at risk points such as machinery, maintenance areas or liquid stores. Responsible personnel should assess each area and select complementary spill-response equipment.
Check suitability before use
Liquids have different properties and hazards. Before use with chemicals or flammable liquids, review the liquid SDS, material compatibility information and site procedures. High-risk spills must be handled under the emergency plan by assigned personnel.
Used material must be managed according to the absorbed liquid and waste requirements. Absorbent alone cannot guarantee removal of all residue or prevention of liquid entering drains in every case.
